My name is Chris Crain and I am the Clock Guy. I work in conjunction with my mentor, master clocksmith Alan Welsh of the Clock Shop in Jasper, Indiana. Together, we repair the majority of clocks in Dubois County and the surrounding area. However, we do have customers that are willing to bring their clocks to us from distant communities as far away as Evansville and Indianapolis. And if you are willing, we are happy to accept shipments from anywhere in the country. As the Clock Guy, I repair all types of clocks including specialty clocks such as cuckoos and anniversary clocks, which other clocksmiths often turn away. In addition, I have a high success rate at repairing the very popular Seiko Small World Rhythm and Seiko Rhythm In Motion clocks. I have a complete machine shop and use only reputable vendors, ensuring that most any part can be repaired, replaced, or fabricated. My mechanical engineering background, CAD design expertise, and graphic arts skills provide additional capabilities that many other clocksmiths do not have or cannot offer. To help maintain lower costs for repairs, the Clock Guy offers an affordable pricing structure and provides free estimates. Payment is collected only when the repair is complete and no deposit is required. Your invoice will detail all the work performed and instructions for maintaining your clock will be provided as well. Additionally, all Clock Guy repairs are warranted for at least one year from the date repairs are completed.
