There’s Something About Paradise

The sun lies low on the western horizon
Sinking beneath the sea
Dark yet orange with its glowing rays
As it peeks between the trees

The ocean crashes on the beaches
As you walk down to the bay
It claws away at the shell-filled sand
Searching for a place to stay

There’s something about paradise
That keeps a glitter in my eyes
There’s something about it when the sun rises
And brings it all to life

Day into night in sanctuary
While birds drink from the pond
You can hear the water trickling
Down the waterfall beyond

Wish it all could last forever
Just never cease to be
I want to stay in Paradise
Remain for Eternity…
